Watertanks for rural schools 2025

Access to clean water is vital to the health of all the children and their families. In rural areas this is a huge problem as families are forced to use streams and pools which are polluted with parasites and diseases. In some areas, extreme drought is a recurring problem which affects communities and wildlife alike. This affects girls and women the most who need clean water to ensure good menstrual health and hygiene.

Our extremely grateful thanks go to Umoja Funds who provided the funds to enable us to provide 5000 litre water tanks to the poorest rural schools in our Outreach Program.
